Arwibon GT08 Electric Scooter Manual Display Settings

przez LafreniereyoaDoris 03 Feb 2026 0 uwagi

The Arwibon GT08 is not just a scooter; it is a programmable machine. While most riders simply turn it on and go, the true potential of this vehicle lies hidden within its onboard computer. The LCD display on your handlebars is more than just a speedometer; it is the command center that allows you to tune the scooter's performance to your exact preferences.

Many owners never venture beyond the basic speed modes, missing out on features that can improve safety, extend range, or unleash the full power of the arwibon gt08. Whether you want to adjust the braking intensity, change how the scooter accelerates, or set a speed limit for a new rider, the "P-Settings" (Parameter Settings) are where the magic happens.

In this guide, we are decoding the digital brain of your arwibon electric scooter. We will walk you through the gt08 electric scooter manual instructions for accessing the hidden menu and explain the most critical settings you need to know to customize your ride.

Accessing the Parameter Settings

The P-Settings menu is hidden to prevent accidental changes while riding. To access it, you need to perform a specific button combination on the display unit.

How to Enter the P-Setting Menu by Pressing Function + Power Buttons

  1. Turn on the Scooter: Press the Power button to turn on the display.

  2. Enter the Menu: Press and hold both the Power button and the Function (Mode) button simultaneously for a few seconds.

  3. Navigate: Once the screen changes to show "P0" or "P1", you are in the menu. You can cycle through the different parameters (P01, P02, etc.) by short-pressing the Power button.

  4. Adjust Values: To change the value of a specific setting, press the Function button to increase the number or the Power button to decrease it (depending on your specific display version, this might vary slightly, but the two buttons generally control navigation and adjustment).

  5. Save and Exit: To save your changes, simply wait a few seconds without pressing anything, or hold both buttons again to exit the menu.

Note: Do not change settings if you don't know what they do. Stick to the key parameters listed below to avoid affecting the voltage calibration or wheel diameter settings, which can mess up your speedometer accuracy.

Key Settings Explained

While there are many parameters in the menu, most are set at the factory and should not be touched. However, there are three specific settings that every gt08 owner should understand to tailor the scooter to their riding style.

P08 Speed Limit Setting (100% Speed Limit)

P08 controls the top speed capability of the scooter. The value is represented as a percentage of the total power output, ranging from 0 to 100.

  • Default Value: 100

  • What it does: At 100, the scooter is allowed to reach its maximum speed (approx. 50 MPH).

  • Why change it? This setting is incredibly useful for managing safety. If you are lending your scooter to a friend who isn't experienced with a 5600W machine, you can lower P08 to "50" or "60". This effectively limits the top speed, turning the beast into a manageable cruiser. It is also useful for extending battery range; by capping the speed at 80%, you prevent the excessive power draw that occurs at top speed, helping you squeeze more miles out of the battery.

P09 E-ABS Strength Setting (Default 2)

P09 controls the Electronic Anti-lock Braking System (E-ABS). This is the regenerative braking feature that uses the motor's resistance to slow the scooter down when you pull the brake lever.

  • Range: 0 (Off) to 2 (Strong/Hard)

  • Default Value: 2

  • What it does:

    • Setting 0: E-ABS is turned off. When you brake, the scooter relies entirely on the physical brake pads. The ride feels like a bicycle—very smooth coasting.

    • Setting 1 (Soft): Provides a gentle electronic braking assist.

    • Setting 2 (Hard): Provides strong electronic braking. As soon as you tap the brake lever, you will feel the motors "drag" significantly, slowing you down rapidly.

  • Why change it? The default "2" setting is aggressive and great for high-speed stopping power. However, some riders find it too jerky for low-speed maneuvering. If you prefer a smoother, more natural braking feel, try lowering this to 1. If you want to maximize brake pad life, keep it at 2, as the motor does most of the work.

P05 Start Method (Zero vs. Non-Zero Start)

P05 determines how the scooter begins moving when you press the throttle.

  • Values:

    • 0 (Zero Start): The motor engages instantly when you press the throttle, even from a standstill.

    • 1 (Non-Zero / Kick Start): You must kick the scooter to get it moving (usually above 3 mph) before the throttle will activate.

  • Why change it?

    • Safety (Setting 1): Non-Zero start is safer. It prevents the scooter from shooting out from under you if you accidentally bump the throttle while stopped at a crosswalk.

    • Performance (Setting 0): Zero Start is more convenient for hill starts or quick getaways at traffic lights. Since the GT08 is a heavy scooter, most riders prefer Zero Start (0) so they don't have to push the 43kg weight to get moving. Just be mindful of your throttle hand when stopped!

Customizing Your Arwibon Electric Scooter Experience

Understanding these settings transforms the Arwibon GT08 from a generic product into a personalized vehicle. You can have a "learning mode" profile with a speed limit and gentle start, or a "race mode" with zero start, max speed, and hard regenerative braking.

Consult your gt08 electric scooter manual for the full list of P-settings, but start with P05, P08, and P09. These three parameters give you the most control over the feel and safety of your ride. By mastering the display, you master the road.

What is Lorem Ipsum? Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. Why do we use it? It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
